What you get
Loft builds small web apps from a sentence you type, hosts them, and gives you a link anyone can open. Free accounts build two new apps a month. Pro accounts build twenty for $12 a month. Changing an app you have already built never counts against either number.
What you own
The apps you build are yours. You can export, fork, publish or delete them whenever you like. We keep a licence to host and display them so the link works, and nothing more. The Playbook templates belong to Loft; the copy you make from one belongs to you.
If you sell an app
Selling is optional and runs through Stripe Connect. Loft keeps 25% of each sale on Free and 20% on Pro. Stripe’s own fees come out before ours. You set the price and you can stop selling at any time.
What you may not build
Nothing that collects other people’s passwords or card numbers, nothing that pretends to be a bank, a government or a doctor, and nothing that gives legal, medical or financial advice as fact. Every generated app passes a moderation screen before it is published, and we remove apps that get past it.
What we promise, and what we do not
Loft is in early access. Apps can break, the AI can misread a sentence, and we may change features with a week’s notice by email. We do not promise uptime, and we are not liable for what an app you built does for the people you share it with. If something goes wrong, your remedy is a refund of the month you paid for.
Ending the agreement
Email us to delete your account and this agreement ends; there is no delete button in Settings yet. Published apps come down with it. We can close an account that breaks the rules above, and we will say why. Questions go to hello@useloft.co.
